Industrial boilers for the meat industry
Industrial boilers are particularly important in meat and sausage manufacturing processes in the meat industry. The steam from the ATTSU boilers is applied at many crucial points during the handling of products made from meat and/or edible offal of animals for slaughter, poultry and game. These include cooking, sterilisation, pasteurisation, heating, drying and precooking.
The most commonly used industrial boilers that ATTSU manufactures and installs for the meat sector are its H shell boilers with three water-cooled smoke passages, its GE steam boilers for medium consumption levels, and its RL boilers with gas inversion. They are mainly used for cooking in pots or under direct steam.
Heat treatment is essential to ensure consumers' health, since it minimises the risks of contamination by eliminating the vegetative cells of pathogens and stabilises the processed product. Other processes such as steam drying the meat prevent the product from coming into contact with the combustion that generates the heat, and it can be better preserved due to being dehydrated.
Our steam boilers more frequently chosen by our customers from this industry are the following:
The H boiler is a steam boiler that is horizontal, fire-tube with three passes and steam chamber. The chamber is completely cooled by boiler water.
Three passes horizontal fire-tube with reverse flame steam boiler. The chamber is completely cooled by boiler water.
The GE is an electric steam generator conceived for small consumption, installation in clean environments or supplying high purity steam.
