Within the metallurgical industry, industrial steam, superheated water, and thermal oil boilers have notable applications in processes such as surface treatment, galvanization, and the preliminary cleaning or final drying of metals.

Thermal treatment is a fundamental part of metallography, which concerns everything related to the microstructure of different metal alloys. Thus, resistance, conductivity, or adhesion are special properties that certain metals can acquire through thermal treatments in which the application of heat or cold speeds up some chemical processes. Steel nitriding and aluminum anodizing are some examples.

Generally speaking, the metallurgy industry, dominated by steel production, mainly relies on cogeneration products and waste heat boilers. Thanks to these, the sector can count on a high-temperature heat source with a good coefficient of heat transfer at a constant temperature. It is, in short, a reliable, precise, and cost-effective heat source.
