Industrial biomass boilers

Industrial biomass boilers offer multiple advantages due to their fuel source's origin, renewability, and environmental impact. Their heating or power generation system uses organic materials of biological origin, such as wood, agricultural waste, forest debris, or crop residues. Burning these types of materials to generate the heat that then produces steam or hot water is generally more sustainable compared to fossil fuels. Biomass is considered a renewable energy source. Its use can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, as long as practices leading to unsustainable deforestation are avoided. To meet the specific requirements of each application, industrial biomass boilers can be adapted in various ways. Hence, they are employed in numerous sectors, such as manufacturing, paper production, the food industry, or energy generation. At Attsu, we manufacture and install three types of industrial biomass boilers:

  • CSPM multi-fuel steam boiler, which accommodates different sizes and types of biomass and has powers ranging from 700 kW to 25,000 kW.
  • FTPM high-efficiency thermal fluid generator, with powers ranging from 100 kW to 15,000 kW.
  • ASPM hot water boiler, with powers ranging from 500 kW to 25,000 kW. All our industrial biomass boilers are equipped with technologically advanced chambers. To increase their performance, they incorporate automatic feeding systems, depression control in the home, ash and slag extraction, and the distribution of combustion air and recirculated gases at three levels. They have been appropriately designed to use a wide variety of different biomasses, especially those that generate slag in their combustion, such as tree bark, straw, pruning remains, etc.
