Plants which transform solar energy to obtain heat, known as thermosolar plants, have gas or electric industrial steam boilers, which operate their steam turbines on an auxiliary basis.
The steam in these installations must be reheated until it reaches temperatures of 290 or 300 ºC. However, as a general rule, the steam's temperature must reach 250 ºC for application in thermosolar power plants.
