Electric steam boilers are an increasingly robust alternative to industrial boilers that run on petroleum-based fuels. That is why an increasing number of models of industrial boilers use electric resistors instead of burning fuel.
As a result, one of the advantages of boilers powered by electricity is the absence of combustion gas emissions while they are running, and low noise levels (<50 db). They also supply very pure steam and can be manufactured entirely in stainless steel, which means they can be used in sterilisation processes in sectors such as food and pharmaceuticals.
A third advantage is their suitability for installation in ATEX II environments (explosive atmospheres).
The electric boilers that ATTSU designs and manufactures can be used in for both small and medium consumption levels, such as the GE electric boiler range, and in larger projects in combined cycle and solar thermal plants.
