What are the European Harmonised Standards, and what others affect the design, manufacture and inspection of industrial steam boilers?

The Harmonised Standards are so-called because they are common to the member countries - those of the European Union in this case - and they ensure that all the products manufactured in this region provide the same safeguards for their users, and that all the machines operating in the EU comply with the same safety characteristics, regardless of where they are manufactured.

Industrial steam boilers are governed by international regulations for pressure vessels, and the authorities responsible for formulating them are:

-The British Standards Institution (BSI)

-The European Committee for Standardization (CEN)

-ASME (the American Society of Mechanical Engineers )

ATTSU manufactures all its equipment in accordance with the European Harmonised Standards and other internationally recognised codes, including the ISO, EN, ASME and Directive 2014/68/EU. These standards are applicable to their design, manufacture and inspection.
